Tommie E. Johnson, 73, of rural Oakwood, IL passed away at 5:06 a.m. Sunday November 20, 2011 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville, Illinois.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana, IL 61801. Dr. John Simms will officiate.

Mrs. Johnson was born October 5, 1938 in Tishomingo, Mississippi, a daughter of John and Carrie (McKee) Prokop. Survivors include, husband Glen Oppenlander, Oakwood, IL, two sons Donald Johnson of Elkhart, IN and John (Susan) Johnson of Sparta, IL, two daughters April (Jack) Strunk of Dewey, AZ and Robin (Mike) Maier of Thomasboro, IL, 7 grandchildren and 4 great children also survive.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Mrs. Johnson sold homes successfully for 20 years. Loving wife, Mother and Grandmother.
