- Thomas Dale "Tim" Roberts, 92, died at 4:30 A.M., February 13, 2017 in Seattle, WA, where he had lived since January 31, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL.

Tim was born March 21, 1924 in Urbana, a son of Cloyd and Kathryn (Burnett) Roberts. He married Barbara L. Stamey on April 16, 1949. She survives. Tim served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from December 9, 1942- July 2, 1946 as a fighter pilot during WW II. He was employed at Vocational Ag with the University of Illinois for many years and farmed north of Urbana.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Gary(Kim) Roberts and two grandsons, Andy and Sam Roberts, all of Seattle, WA; a sister, Linda(Don) Foster of Villa Grove; a sister-in-law, Virgie(John) Roberts of Sidney, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and two nieces.
