Thomas William McDonough, 84, of Urbana, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13th at St. Patrick's Church, 708 W. Main St., Urbana. A funeral Mass will take place immediately following the visitation at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Joseph Hogan officiating. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana at 11:30 a.m., Saturday.

Mr. McDonough was born July 26, 1930 in Urbana to parents Thomas and Anna (Rund) McDonough. He married Loretta Pilgrim October 8, 1988 at St. Patrick's Church. She preceded him in death March 31, 2014.

Survivors include one sister, Connie Dillon (Fred), of Tuscola, nieces, Kimberly Lytle (Gary), Melynda Kroll (Donald), Mary Dilliner, nephews, Thomas Bready (Mary), Mike Bready, and Jim Bready, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. His parents and one sister, Bonnie Bready, preceded Thomas in death.

Mr. McDonough graduated from Urbana High School before working in the receiving and loading area of the Meadow Gold Dairy. He was a member of St. Patrick's church for his entire life.
