Thomas R. Fridline, 53, of Urbana passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana, Illinois. Military rites will be performed after the service. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tom was born on February 23, 1960 in Subic Bay Zambales, Philippines to Nancy Rose Lillard. She survives.

He married Pil (Song) Fridline in Seoul, P.R.of South Korea on January 4, 1979, she survives. Also surviving are their two children, Charles "Chuck" Fridline of Virginia and Juliana Fridline of Urbana, two grandchildren, Alexis Parr and Kaylen Fridline, two sisters, Ruth Fridline and Rebecca Rose, one brother, Teddy Rose.

Tom attended Watsonville High School, Parkland Community College and the University of Illinois, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Psychology.

He worked for the United States Army as a Service Member until 1985 when he was medically chaptered out due to a career ending injury to both of his arms. Tom also worked for Dish Network as a technician. He was a member of New Life Church, Urbana.

Tom was an avid stamp collector. He was family oriented, caring and loving. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grand daughters.
