Thomas Bradford Bigler, 63 of Urbana, died January 30, 2012 in Champaign. Funeral services will be Thursday February 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Meadowbrook Community Church, 1902 S. Duncan Rd., Champaign with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the church. Pastor Ron Strack will officiate. Burial will be in the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda. Memorial contributions may be made to the Athletic Dept. of High School of St. Thomas More or the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Bigler was born August 18, 1948, the son of Hal Edward and Marietta (Cooper) Bigler. He married Florence Donna Reed in Urbana on July 20, 1990 and she survives. He is also survived by his mother, brothers, Richard and Rodger Bigler all of Champaign; step-sons, Donald, Dennis and D. F. Frichtl, four step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, infant brother and grandparents.

Mr. Bigler is a graduate of Champaign High School and Black Hawk College where he received an A. A. S. degree. He worked as broadcast operator at WILL-TV for sixteen years. Tom was active in volunteerism in the C-U community for over 43 years. He was a sports "time-keeper" for The High School of St. Thomas More for ten years and prior to that, Parkland College. He was also active in Little League, coaching baseball and helping with tournaments, as a young man.
