Thomas Lee Andert, 93, of Urbana, died at 10:50 p.m. Friday May 11, 1012 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Private family services will be held.

He attended St. Louis University where he received a bachelor's degree with a major in marketing. He enlisted in the Navy in June, 1942, served for 4 years and was discharged as a Lieutenant Commander and Communications Officer for the Naval Air School in Olatha, Kansas. He worked as a sales representative for 65 years. He was a former president of the Urbana Country Club.

Lee married Mary Katherine Parsley on October 20, 1943. They were married for 68 years. He is survived by his sister, his wife, his sister-in-law, 3 children and their spouses, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
