Theresa Rasner-Harris, 59, passed away at 9:39 a.m. on September 3, 2017 at Norton Remington Children's & Women's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory in Urbana. Pastor Doug Burwell will officiate. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Theresa was born on September 15, 1957 in Urbana to parents Ranzy Jr. and Augusta (Avery) Rasner. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her brother in law; Gary Wingler.

She is survived by her children; Hillary Harris of Louisville, KY, Travis Harris of Louisville, KY and Tyler Harris of Peoria, IL, her siblings; Linda (Edward) Williams of Sidney, Jacalyn Wingler of Savoy, Kim (Jim) Shelmadine of Mahomet and Vanda (Richard) Duncan of Sidney. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Theresa had five lifelong best friends; Mary, Nancy, Diana, Margie and Jeannie. She was loved by all.

Theresa graduated from Urbana High School and from St. John's Medical School in Springfield with a Bachelor Degree. She became a Histologist, working at Burnham Hospital, the U of I Vet Med Clinic and Carle Foundation Hospital.

Theresa was a member of Stonecreek Church in Urbana. She was an avid quilter, loved to read and spending time with her family and friends. Theresa was an organ donor and above all loved the Lord.
