Terry Lee Schneider, 71 of Fisher, IL died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Salem Village Nursing Home in Joliet, IL. A visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday August 4 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana.  Graveside services will be held  Saturday August 11 at  11 a.m. at East Bend Cemetery in Fisher.  Pastor Jim Woods will officiate.  Military Rites will be accorded.

Terry was born in Cains Store, KY on February 25, 1947,. She is the daughter of Edwin P. and Zelma L. (Preston) Thomas.  She is survived by her fiance Dean Ray Elliott also of Fisher; Her children , Tommy and daughter-in-law Ann Horning of Bridgeview, Richard A Schneider of Joliet, Jeffrey P. Schneider of Rochester, IN, and step daughter Valerie Emberson of Paxton; A brother, Robert H. Thomas of Orland Park and a sister, Carol Moore of Somerset, KY; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Heather M. Janssen, and a brother, Edwin P. Thomas.

Terry attended Justice Elementary School, Argo Community High School, with some college. Terry is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during The Vietnam War. She also was a Secretary  at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL, and worked at the U.S. Post Office in Champaign, IL.
