Terry Duane Phillippe 65 of Urbana died at 3:35 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at home.

There will be a reception in memory of Terry's life on May 14, 2016 at the Phillippe residence.. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Phillippe was born on February 13, 1951 in Urbana, the son of James E. and Bettie Raynor Phillippe. He married Mary A. Burwell on February 15, 1969 in Urbana, she survives.

Survivors include two children: James D. Phillippe and Lisa R. Phillippe both of Urbana, one brother; Rocky (Lilma) Phillippe of Mahomet, one sister; Nancy (Dick) Stunkard of Tolono and one granddaughter; Haylee Simone Phillippe.

He was preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister.

Mr. Phillippe was a U.S. Army veteran.

He retired after 21 years from Purity Bakery and then retired after 11 years at Silgon.

Mr. Phillippe loved sports especially the Cubs, Illini and Bears.
