Terry Gene Moore, 63 of Mahomet died at 5:42 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 3 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana with Pastor Jeff Dyson officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 to 8. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview.

Mr. Moore was born May 27, 1949 in Urbana, the son of Warren Dale Moore and Wanda Lenore (Wilson) Moore. He married Linda Ann Gudgel June 27, 1970 in Urbana and she survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Rachel Isaac (Darick) of Mahomet and Melissa Harden (Bradley) of St. Joseph; a son, Jacob Moore (Jennifer) of Philo; seven grandchildren, Brok and Wyatt Isaac, Maddie, Makayla and Macey Harden, Quinton and Hayden Moore; two sisters, Nancy Cain of Savoy and Kandie Hill (Bob) of Urbana; four brothers, Danny Moore (Ann) of WV, Mike Moore of Collison, Dennis Moore (Darlene) of MS and John Moore (Christina) of Yorkville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Terry graduated from Urbana High School, Parkland College and Eastern Illinois University. He retired from the University of Illinois after a long career with the Department of Administrative Information Technology Services (AITS). He was a member of Mahomet Christian Church.

Terry adored all his grandchildren and especially enjoyed fishing with friends and family.
