Susan Kay Zwemer, 68, of Danville died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Danville Care Center.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church, 1100 Broadmoor Drive, Champaign; Pastor Scott Boyd will officiate.

Mrs. Zwemer was born on October 19, 1947 in Pekin, the adopted daughter of Jake and Margaret Hostetler. She married Ted Zwemer on May 30, 1984 in Urbana, he survives.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law; Mark and Nancy Hostetler, nephews, John Mark and Gabriel Hostetler, and her cousins Jon and Connie Bryan.

Susan was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Marie Hostetler, and granddaughter, Ashley Marie Guire.

Mrs. Zwemer was CNA at a couple of nursing homes.

She loved children and babysit in her home.

Mrs. Zwemer loved to paint, draw and travel.
