Stephen W.
Pelafas
Sep 20, 1953 — Oct 27, 2016
Stephen Pelafas - Born September 20, 1953. My parents Steve and Mary Jo Pelafas, and younger brother Deanos were the best. I am survived by my 3 children Nicholas Gustavus, Joanna Catherine, and Aric Ascot, and long time companion Ann Delporte.
The Embassy Tavern & Grill occupied a number of years of my life as an owner and operator. My fondest memories are those of the wonderful people over the years - best job I ever had.
I enjoyed travel - in particular abroad. All the world was a bit more civil in those times. I also enjoyed reading, mostly subject matter regarding history, the sport of fishing, and expanding on my culinary skills. My favorite foods were Mediterranean and Southwestern. I disliked the term politically correct - good, bad, right, wrong, truly a state of moral consciousness; what's politics got to do with it?
I want to take a moment to wish all friends, family, and mankind the best of luck and the best in life. There will be no public memorial service.
So on that note, farewell - I will catch you on the flip side, Stephen
