Sonya Jean Ryckman, 38 of Rantoul Died October 6, 2007 at Urbana. Sonya was born January 13, 1969 in Champaign. She was the fifth of five children. Sonya attended Carrie Busey and Urbana Jr. High School. She was under the care of her family, Developmental Service Center, St. Joseph Group Home and Rockland in Rantoul Sonya taught everyone how to love and be loved. She was the sunshine on a cloudy day and now she is our guardian angel. She leaves behind her mother; Mieko Hanada, four sisters and brothers; Sandra (Gerard) Ryckman, Bruce Ryckman, Kim (Laura) Ryckman and Emi (Paul) Ryckman. She also leaves behind a niece, two nephews and many, many friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Developmental Services Center, 309 East Neil Street, Rantoul and also at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Ginza Flower Shop, 315 East University, Champaign. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana is in charge of arrangements.
