Son Minh Phan, 78, of Urbana, formerly of Vietnam passed away at 10:55 PM on February 26, 2022 at Carle foundation Hospital. He was born in (City) Vietnam on October 25, 1943 the son of Pho Phan and Lam Thi Dinh. He married Kieu Thi Nguyen on December 21, 1971. Son is survived by his wife Kieu Thi Nguyen;son- Trung Quoc Kieu Phan & daughter in law Huong Huyen Thi Phan; daughter- Thuthao Kieu Phan & son in law Chinh Truong Quang;son- Minh Quan Kieu Phan; daughter- Yen Nhi Kieu Phan;daughter-Thao Nguyen Kieu Phan & son in law- Will Roong Lieng; Grandchildren- Gia Han Quoc Phan, Gia Khang Quoc Phan, Gia Khoi Quoc Phan, Alice Anh Thu Quang, Andres Truong Thien Quang, Andrei Truong Thinh Quang, Allie Anh Thy Quang, Tram Anh Hoang Phan & Nguyen Sa Ngoc Lieng. He is preceded by his parents and siblings. Son was a member of the Vietnam military before moving to the United States. He was a home care provider and enjoyed cooking, loved animals especially dogs.
