Shirley J. Price 73 of Urbana died at 11:58 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Renner-Wikoff and Crematory, Urbana; the Rev. Jim Blue will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Price was born on August 2, 1936 in Urbana, the daughter of Henry L. and Irene Logan Brownfield. She married Victor E. Price on May 17, 1954 in Indiana; he died on December 3, 1987.

Survivors include five children; Sherry Garrett of Rantoul, Carol Salander of Urbana, Tina (Don) Harlan of Champaign, Vic (Donna) Price and Ryan Price both of Urbana, two brothers; Harold (Susie) Brownfield of Manitow, James Brownfield of Havana, three sisters; Deloris Elrod of Tolono, Barbara Ann Wyaeck Havana, Patricia (Phillip) Fox of Pekin, ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Price was a waitress.

She enjoyed fishing and bingo.
