Shirley Virginia Eubanks 85 of Warrenville, IL died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Central Dupage Hospital, Winfield, IL

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana. There will be no public visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Eubanks was born on March 18, 1923 in Bement, the daughter of Francis and Emma Aleta Peterson Morrow. She married Gerald Eubanks on May 28, 1942 in Urbana; he died December 24, 1959.

Survivors include two sons; David Eubanks of Warrenville and Philip (Mary Lou) Eubanks of Sycamore and three grandchildren; Shannon, Kara and Jaimie.

She was preceded in death by her son Richard and her daughter Carol.

Mrs. Eubanks graduated from Champaign High School and Illinois Commercial College in Champaign and worked for more than thirty years at Millikin University in Decatur, first in the Chaplains office, then in the Staley Library. She raised four children in Decatur.
