Sheila A. Collins

Sheila A. Collins, 50, of Mahomet died 5:55 P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Kirby Hospital in Monticello.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Pastor Sam Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be an hour prior. Burial will be at Gundey Cemetery in Bismark.

Sheila Collins was born June 6, 1956 in Urbana a daughter of George and Barbra Winters Powell. She was raised by Roger Sommer and her mother. She married Michael David Collins on October 10, 1982 in Urbana. He survives.

She is survived by two children Sara A. Collins of Mahomet, Jacob M. Collins of Champaign, three brothers Rick Powell of Ramona, CA; Ron Sommer of Champaign, Kevin Sommer of Knoxville, TN; three sisters Sher Roberts of Champaign, Debbie Gilliam of Potosi, MO; and Linda Powell of Ft. Myers, FL.

Mrs. Collins graduated from Central High School in Champaign. She was a member of Lake of the Woods Church in Mahomet and worked as a staff production specialist at Pattersons Dental in Champaign.
