Scott William Stedwell, 30, of Champaign died, on Monday, November 16, 2015, at his home.

Mr. Stedwell was born March 5, 1985, in Urbana, to Charles and Sandee Stedwell (Moore). He grew up in Paxton in his early days and then moved to Urbana where he attended Urbana Schools. He later attended Parkland College, where he studied computer science.

He is survived by his parents, Charles Stedwell of Champaign and Sandee and Don Moore and his maternal grandfather, Rufus Newsom, all of Paxton. He leaves behind several aunts and uncles, and thirteen cousins.

Mr. Stedwell was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Geneva Stedwell, and his maternal grandmother Virgie Newsom.

Scott enjoyed his dogs, bicycles, karaoke, music, and all electronics. He loved and appreciated his father, who he considered his best friend.

Those who knew Mr. Stedwell, knew he had a kind heart and a tender soul. His favorite song was called "BlueJays" by Days N Daze, that he liked to listen to with a close and special friend.

"... the blue jays oh sing a sorrowful tune; I'll never stop missing you; I'll never stop loving you... "

The family is arranging private funeral services at a later date in the spring.
