- Scott Eugene Deppe, 55, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 11, 2011, at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Visitation will be held from 3-6PM, Sunday(April 10th) evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Deppe was born July 12, 1955 in Concordia, Kansas, a son of Merle "Red" and Carol Owen Deppe. He is survived by his wife, Mary and four children, Ashlee, Cody, Kayla and Karlee; a brother, Bruce Deppe of Salina, Kansas and a sister, Denise Miller and husband, Dan of Olathe, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Mickey.

Mr. Deppe worked for Kraft Foods in Champaign for 20 years. He was a talented artist who especially loved watercolor painting. His hobbies were golfing and fishing. He was a sports enthusiast and his favorite teams included the Kansas Jayhawks, Cubs, Bears and the Illini. He was an animal lover who spoiled his three dogs, and he was a devoted family man. Memorials may be made to the family for the benefit of the children.
