Sarah Elizabeth McBride, 86, of Westville, Ill., formerly of Indianapolis, died Monday, December 10 at home. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Champaign, Ill. Rev. James P. Hollis officiating. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd, Urbana, Ill. is in charge of arrangements.

Miss McBride was born July 26, 1921 in Champaign, Ill., the daughter of George Roy and Delora Elizabeth McWhorter McBride. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and she is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Miss McBride Graduated from Champaign High School and Illinois Commercial College. She worked in Office Administration as a civilian at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Ill. She later was transferred to Washington, D.C. After retirement in 1976 she attended the University of Kentucky where she earned her BA. She was a member of Westview Christian Church, Indianapolis. Her hobbies and interests include; volunteering, reading, music, photography, traveling and needlework.
