Sandra Lee Rosenbeck, 78 of  Rantoul, formerly of Urbana, passed away at 4:17 a.m. Saturday December 23, 2023 at Hawthorne Inn of Danville.  Sandra Lee was born October 13, 1945 in Urbana, the daughter of Harold and Mayme (Freeman)  Gilliland.  She is survived by her sons, John Rosenbeck (Melissa) of Paxton, Joshua Rosenbeck (Roselle) of  Missouri City,  TX, brother, John "Butch" Gilliland of Urbana, sister, Martha Meade of Homer, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a close friend, Dave Fuqua for many years.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Gilliland.

Sandra Lee graduated from Urbana High School in 1964 and she worked at Kraft Foods for 37 years, retiring in 1997.  She was a member of American Lutheran Church, Rantoul and was a Sunday School Teacher at the church.  Sandra enjoyed swapping stories with other employees.  She grew up as a farm girl and enjoyed life and loved working in the yard planting all kinds of flowers.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday December 29 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 Philo Rd., Urbana, IL.  Pastor Hank Sanford will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to noon Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at the Prairie View Cemetery, Savoy.
