Ryan Breen, 14, of Urbana passed away Monday (Aug. 10, 2015) at his home.

Ryan was born January 24, 2001, in Urbana, a son of Timothy and Danna (Moore) Breen.

Surviving are his parents and brother, Sean of Urbana, Grandparents Dick and Kathy Moore of Heyworth, Stanna Breen of Bloomington, and William & Dianne Breen of Lincoln. Ryan is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the mid-west. He also leaves behind many very special, devoted friends from various circles.

Ryan had a passion for faith and was extremely active with his church and a member of The Vineyard Church of Central Illinois. He was a youth leader in the Revolution Youth Ministry, a 2 yr. graduate of the School of Kingdom Ministry, volunteered in Kingdom Kids and was a valued member of the Tech Team helping to spread the message.

He was also an avid musician, playing the tuba & trombone with his school band, and was often found wailing on his flaming black Gibson.

Ryan was an accomplished martial artist, achieving the level of black belt. Not only practicing and learning to achieve his personal goals, but assisting with instruction to help others reach theirs.

To say he was a good student would be an understatement. Ryan had a thirst for knowledge. He was always happy to share what he had learned, and was anxious to learn more from whatever the source.

To say Ryan will be missed, would also be an understatement. Ryan was a shining light and had a positive impact on so many.

Visitation will be Thursday August 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Vineyard Church of Central Illinois, 1500 N. Lincoln Ave., Urbana IL.

Funeral services will be Friday August 14 at 10:00 am Friday at The Vineyard Church of Central Illinois, 1500 N. Lincoln Ave., Urbana, IL. Senior Pastors Happy & Dianna Leman will officiate. A private burial will be in Randolph Township Cemetery, Heyworth. Pastor Chris Ratcliff will officiate.
