CHAMPAIGN-Juanita Ruth Cobble, 82, of Champaign, died 11:07 a.m. Sunday, November 26, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral service will be at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 30, Pastor Mike Mack officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana. There will be no visitation.

She was born June 5, 1924 at Toledo, the daughter of Earl and Iva Ingram Gentry. She married James Forrest Cobble June 30, 1943 at San Luis Obispo, CA. He preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1991.

She is survived by: Son; James Cobble of Matthews, NC Daughters; Dianne Newcity of Fort Smith, Ark., Connie Davis of White Heath, Patti Cobble of Versailles, Mo. Sister; Gladys Beals of Stewardson, Ill., Brother; Max Gentry of St. Augustine, Florida Twelve grandchildren and Nine great-grandchildren She is preceded in death by 2 daughters. Mrs. Cobble operated a child care center in her home for many years.
