Russell Francis Hawn 48 of Urbana died at 5:49 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hawn AKA "Radical Rusty" was born on May 9, 1960.

He is survived by his mother; Dorothy A. Logan of Tolono, his father and stepmother; Harold and Patricia Hawn of Urbana, one sister; Carol Ross of Ogden and one brother; David Hawn of Bement, one daughter; Angel Hawn of Bement, two sons; Josh Hawn of Seymour and Cody Hawn of Ivesdale.

Also surviving are his grandmother; Helen Gore of Champaign, six nieces, one nephew and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five grandparents.

Mr. Hawn was a tree climber and a shade tree mechanic for a family owned business his whole life. He was passionate about muscle cars, and motorcycles. Mr. Hawn was devoted to his family and racing with his sons. He shared a lifetime of knowledge and laughter to all who knew him.
