Rudolph Anthony Berdish, 88 of Monroe, MI died at 7:10 A.M. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 at home in Champaign.

There will be no public services, Renner-Wikoff Chapel; Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Berdish was born on April 16, 1918 in Cadillac, MI, the son of Joseph and Anna Hopiak Berdish. He married Elna Rickert on March 16, 1943 in Detroit, MI she survives.

Also surviving are 3 grandchildren including Paige Tobias of Champaign, Cortland Berdish of Farmington, MI and Wendy McGraw of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, and three brothers.

Mr. Berdish was a retired executive in the purchasing department for General Motors Corp.
