Ruby B. Waldron, 92 of Savoy, formerly of Pesotum, died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 11 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana with visitation one hour prior to service time, Rev. Bong Choul Hwang of Pesotum United Methodist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Waldron was born February 17, 1919 in Deland, the daughter of Grover and Merle (Prough) Polston. She married Ralph H. Waldron, Sr. in 1935 and he preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Ralph H. Waldron, Jr. of Corvallis, OR, sister, Juanita Orr of Pesotum, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy A. Waldron.

Mrs. Waldron was a food supervisor at the University of Illinois and she loved to cook.
