Royal Hiram Bolding, 87 of St. Joseph died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at home.

Visitation will be from 2:o00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Burial will be in the Pana Cemetery, Pana.

Royal was born on February 16, 1921 in Pana a son of Hiram and Verna Hamblin Bolding. He married Eva Miriam Finkbiner on June 15, 1948 in Pana. She survives.

Survivors include a son: Curtis Paul (Loretta) Bolding of St. Joseph, two step grandchildren: Clinton Gudgel and Brooke Gudgel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Royal Bolding worked as a conductor for the Illinois Central Railroad.

Mr. Bolding enjoyed cats, photography and flowers.
