Rosemary Ellen Donaldson, 91, of Savoy formerly of Mahomet died at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, August 12, 2006 at the Carle Arbours Nursing Home, Savoy.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign, IL. The Rev. Mike Smith will officiate. There will be no public visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 6, 1915 in Arthur, IL, the daughter of Walter & Lucy Sefton Smith. She married Lewis Donaldson in 1940. He died Dec. 29, 1975.

Also surviving are one sister Lillian Kanitz of Tuscola, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother, and 4 sisters.

Mrs. Donaldson was an elementary school teacher for Mahomet Schools. She was a member of the Mahomet United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary in Mahomet and the Illinois Teachers Association. She loved reading, theater, traveling and knitting.
