Robin Lu Merry, 44, of Urbana, passed away at 12:33 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2014 at her home. A visitation and luncheon will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014 at First Christian Church of Champaign, 3601 S. Staley Road. A funeral service will be held at the church following the visitation at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Tim Barber officiating. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Robin was born October 14, 1969 in Champaign, Illinois to parents Wendell and Luella (Pracht) Merry.

Survivors include her mother, Luella, of Urbana, sister, Laura Merry, of New Hampshire, and numerous cousins in Illinois, Georgia, and Oregon. Robin was preceded in death by her father and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Robin graduated from Judah Christian High School in 1988. She was a fixture at Monical's Pizza for more than 20 years, where she worked as a trainer.

Robin was well-travelled and visited many countries, including England, France, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Ireland, Canada, Puerto Rico and most of the United States. Her love of travelling was due, in part, to her interest in history.

Robin's other interests included NASCAR and crocheting. She was a kind-hearted, compassionate, and considerate person who loved her family dearly. Her family and friends take comfort in the fact that Robin had a steadfast love of Jesus.
