OGDEN, IL- Roberta L. Richardson, 64, of Ogden, IL, passed away at 10:56 A.M., Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 30, 2011 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL.

Roberta was born July 6, 1947 in Mondovi, Wisconsin, a daughter of Robert Ross and Vivian Louise (Langert) Burkholder. She married Herman Richardson on January 7, 1967 in Champaign, IL. He survives. Also surviving is a son, Todd (Tracy) Richardson of Ogden, IL and a daughter, Becky (Eduardo) Romero of Bolingbrook, IL; five grandchildren, a brother, Bill Burkholder of Champaign, IL, and a sister, Daneen Orwick of Urbana, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Roberta was a LPN and worked for the Tuberculosis Sanitarium in Urbana, as well as, Mercy Hospital, where she mainly worked with cancer patients. She enjoyed travelling and visiting zoos, reading, camping, bowling and crafts. She especially loved her family.
