Roberta Elaine Gross, 81, of Seguin, TX passed away on June 3, 2010.

Roberta was born May 16, 1929 in Urbana to Walter and Ina Marie Huck.

She is survived by her three daughters, Candice (Ralph) Soper of Geneva, Elaine Sheets of Deland, FL, and Tamara (Randy) Myers of Chesterfield, MO, eight grandchildren, Katie Sanders, Kerri Soper, Matt Soper, Ryan Sheets, Rachel Sheets, David Myers, Natalie Myers and Patrick Myers, sisters, Jeannette (Barry) Stelford of Urbana and LouAnn Stevenson of Urbana and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Gross, brothers, Walter Huck, George Huck and her brother-in-law Robert Stevenson.

Roberta graduated from Urbana High School and attended Illinois Commercial College in Champaign.

She worked for the National Council of Teachers of English, the Bureau of Credit Control, and also at Carle Hospital.

She was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Roberta loved spending time with her family and friends playing euchre and canasta. During her many hobbies and associations with people, she met many good friends which she retained throughout her life. Roberta was also an avid bowler for many years.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
