Robert D. Zoll 63 of Urbana died at 10:46 p.m. Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, Urbana.

Robert was born on July 18, 1953 in Rome, New York, the son of Robert Otto and Faith Y. Zoll. He married Ruth Combest on July 14, 1983 in Urbana; she survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Urbana, one brother; John Zoll of Champaign and one sister; Margaret Ann Hinrichs of Urbana.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Robert worked at the Jolly Roger in Urbana for 33 years.

Growing up in a Military household, Robert was able to live and travel to several different countries. He graduated from Kubasaki High School, Okinawa, Japan in 1971.

He was a member of Community Choices.
