Robert "Bob" M. Pigman, 73, of Urbana, passed away at 1:29 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, with Pastor Jerry Conner officiating. A reception will be held for an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bob was born June 24, 1942 in Williamson, West Virginia to parents Paul and Martha (Brown) Pigman. He married Edna Keeney January 22, 1963 in West Virginia; she survives. Also surviving are sons, Larry Pigman, of Urbana, Rob Pigman (Vicky), of Beecher, and grandchildren, Jeffery and Lauren Pigman. He is also survived by siblings, Mary Ellen Flores (Dom), of Bensenville, and Terry Pigman (Tammy) of Chattaroy, West Virginia. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry, Paul, Bill, and Fred Pigman.

After graduating high school, Bob served in the United States Navy. He then worked as a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad until he retired.
