Robert L. Mack, Jr., Passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at the age of 43.

The visitation for Robert will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26th at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Road in Urbana. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, with Pastor Mike Potts officiating. Interment will be held at Eastlawn Burial Park in Urbana.

Robert worked with his father, Bob Mack, at Bob Mack's construction for several years before going to work for Open Road Paving. Robert was a member of the Teamster local Union #26 since August of 1999. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #71.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Amee Diorio (Jacob), one sister Shelley Dix, his parents Bob Mack Sr. and Sandy McMasters (Jeff), his grandparents, Howard and Barbara Mack, Mildred Childress, one nephew, Aaron Dix, two nieces, Ericka and Alexis Dix, two uncles, Mark Childress, Jim Mack (Tina), and two aunts, Theresa Harris (Keith) and Sandy Rector (Don).

He was born August 20th, 1970 in Urbana, and attended Urbana High School. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lewis Childress Sr., and Uncle Lewis Childress Jr.

Robert enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. Although Robert did not like to show his emotions, he was a caring, generous person who was loved dearly and will be missed.
