CHAMPAIGN, IL- Robert "Bob" Harmon, 78, of Champaign, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Private Memorial Services will be held Monday, March 9, 2009 at 10:00 A.M., at the Philo Presbyterian Church, Philo, IL. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, is in charge of arrangements.

Bob was the son of Kenneth and Bernice Reesor Harmon. He married Marilyn Plotner of Philo on August 18, 1956. He graduated from Champaign High School in 1948.

He is survived by his wife and three sons, Rick Harmon, Mick Harmon and wife, Cathy and Dan Harmon and wife, Sue; Four grandsons, Christopher, Patric, Nolan and Ryan. He is also survived by two brothers, David and Mike Harmon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Bob was owner of Harmon Drapery Company for 50 years. He was a life member of the C-U Elks Lodge #2497, and the Champaign American Legion Post 24. He belonged to the Philo Presbyterian Church.
