Robert F. "Bob" Duncan, 93, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, with burial to follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign. Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M., Wednesday evening, April 19, at the funeral home.

Bob was born March 29, 1924 in Mattoon, IL, a son of Ira James and Alice (Tatman) Duncan. He married Wanda Faye Cafin on November 19, 1949 in Urbana. She survives. Also surviving is a son, Richard(Vanda) Duncan of Sidney, IL; two daughters, Peggy Duncan of Urbana and Alice(Bill) of Urbana; 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; 4 Sisters, Myrtle Pingel, Alberta Barker, Mary Ann and Ruby Sutcliffe and a brother, William Skillings also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, two sons, two granddaughters, two brothers, and a sister.

Bob was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army from 1943-1946. He later worked as a roofer for Bash Roofing, Hitchens Roofing and Econoway in Ogden. Bob was a member of V.F.W. Post 630 Urbana, and he was an avid turtle hunter.
