URBANA, IL- Richard Allen Kirkpatrick, 76, of Urbana, Illinois, passed away at 7:00 A.M., Friday, July 1, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Burial will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Mr. Kirkpatrick was born on September 24, 1934 in Champaign, IL, a son of Raymond Thomas and Edith (McIntire) Kirkpatrick. Survivors include three sons, Richard Allen Kirkpatrick of Richardson, Texas, Lance Gene Kirkpatrick of Marengo, IL, and Royce Van Kirkpatrick of Rochester, IL; seven grandchildren, Ben, Tim, James, Gregory, Beth, Erin and Kyle.

Mr. Kirkpatrick worked for Western Electric and Lucent for over 35 years, as a supervisor. He loved spending time with his family, traveling, and working on his Genealogy.
