SAVOY, IL- Rebecca Sue Phillips, 62, of Savoy, passed away at 10:35 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2011, at her home in Savoy, IL.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 29, 2011, at the First Christian Church, 3601 S. Staley Road, Champaign, IL. Tim Barber will officiate. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, is in charge of arrangements.

Rebecca was born December 12, 1948, in La Junta, Colorado, a daughter of Faith Burke. She married Michael R. Phillips on July 10, 1968 in Estes Park, Colorado. He survives. Also surviving are four children, Melissa Phillips of Chicago, IL, Michael Jon Phillips of Champaign, IL, Meredith Howard of Roanoke, Texas and Marc Phillips of Champaign, IL. Two grandchildren, Darien and Toby, and a sister, Stacie Welsh of Boulder, Colorado also survive.

Rebecca graduated from Dallas Baptist University and was a member of First Christian Church, Champaign.
