Rebecca Jean Le'Noir, 58, of Champaign, passed away at 2:05 A.M. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A. M. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 404 W. Main St., Urbana. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery.

Rebecca was born on April 12, 1957 in Bloomington, IL to parents Kenneth and Mary (Hoffman) Shubert. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her brother, William.

On February 17, 2003, Rebecca married John Wesley Le'Noir Jr. at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana. He survives. Also surviving are her children, Nicole (James) Clutts of Granite City, Andrew Butler of Chicago, Lindsey Butler of Champaign, her step-children, John C. Le'Noir of Urbana, Yolanda (Troy) McMullen of Champaign, Tirsha Le'Noir of Belleville, Latoya Le'Noir of Champaign, her sisters, Donna Shubert of Nashville, TN, Barbara Grzegorek of Cleveland, OH, eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Rebecca graduated from Blue Ridge High School in Farmer City and Parkland College. She was a member of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a counselor for the Prairie Center. Rebecca also volunteered at Helia Healthcare of Champaign, where she loved working with her "Grandma's and Grandpa's". She loved taking walks, cooking and decorating. Rebecca loved to talk, tell animated stories and always had nicknames for the people she was close to. She is going to be missed by everyone who knew her.

Memorial contributions in Rebecca's name may be made to The Prairie Center or to the Women's Safe House in Urbana.
