Raymond Paul O'Donnell, 68 of Champaign died at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday, April 1 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his children and family.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday April 4 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Funeral Services celebrating Ray's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5 at the funeral home.

Ray was born Dec. 27, 1939 in Urbana, the son of Virginia Good O'Donnell and Cletus D. O'Donnell.

He graduated from Urbana High School in 1958. His employment career spanned 46 years in the automotive parts business. He worked for Sullivan Chevrolet, Twin City Pontiac, Twin City Honda and retired from Worden-Martin Buick-Pontiac.

Raymond is survived by his children, Anthony and Elizabeth of Champaign, and Thomas (Christy) of Mahomet. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers, William (Diann) and Kenneth O'Donnell both of Champaign and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, a sister and a brother.

His interests include his family, the Fighting Illini, the Cubs, the Bears, horseshoes and NASCAR. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Champaign Bridging the Gap Fund.
