Raymond Lewis McGraw Sr. 81 of Urbana died at 1:08 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Illiana Veterans Affairs System, Danville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; the Rev. Dennis Anglin will officiate. Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. McGraw was born on August 4, 1929 in Urbana, the son of Henry and Dorothy Mantage McGraw. He married Barbara Sue Blackford on December 31, 1965 in Urbana, she survives.

Also surviving are five children; Linda (Jerry Fairfield) Boatz of Kokomo, IN, Diane McGraw, Kelly (Craig) Avery, Raymond (April Steele) McGraw Jr. all of Urbana, Jim (Cindy Dodds) McGraw of Champaign, sister; Theresa (Doug) Smith of Urbana, sister in-law Becky (Richard) Wheatley of Urbana, brother in-law; David (Joan) Lantz of Tolono, Richard (Linda) Blackford of Phoenix, AZ, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Mr. McGraw was a truck driver for Illini FS and was a services manager for 10 years in St. Joseph.

He attended the Salvation Army and was a member the American Legion Post 71, Urbana. He enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, John Wayne and was a Cardinal fan.
