Randy L. Poll, 59, of St. Joseph died at 3:27 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the funeral home. Pastor Scott Millis will officiate. Burial will take place after the funeral at Stanton Friends Cemetery in St. Joseph.

Randy was born on January 6, 1957 in Champaign to parents Roy "Bud" Poll and Sharon L. (Burgin) Horney. Bud preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one grandson, Levi Randall.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Horney of Urbana, the love of his life, Gail Villarreal of St. Joseph, his children; Amanda Lea Turner (Justin) of KS, Edward Cacy Poll of PA, Dustin Leland Poll (Kaley) of GA, Michael Allen Poll (Tara) of Rantoul and Amber Marie Poll-Hutchison (Juanisha) of Urbana. Three brothers; Steven J. Poll (Cynthia) of Savoy, Chris Edward Poll (Sandra) of Urbana, Robert Keith Poll of Urbana, 17 grandchildren as well as, step children Mitch Pal (Trisha), Missy Adams (Taylor), Mandy Tharp (Jimmy), all of St. Joseph. He also leaves behind his Aunt Kay & Uncle Warren Gossard of Mahomet, Uncle Leon Poll of Mahomet, Uncle Jeff Burgin (Rhonda) of Sidney and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Randy attended Urbana High School and graduated from Mahomet High School. He worked as a supervisor for Caradco/ Jeld-Wen for eighteen years. He was blessed with a loving and generous heart. Randy's family and friends loved his wicked sense of humor. He enjoyed being outdoors, playing the lottery, spending time with his children and grandchildren and he loved his dogs.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses that accumulated after Randy's long illness.
