Ralph Leo Ebert, 76 of Philo died at 2:45 P.M. Friday, August 11, 2006 at home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. Kay Kelley officiating. There will be no public visitation; Renner-Wikoff Chapel Urbana, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ebert was born on January 4, 1930 in Luken Township, IL. The son of Joseph and Marie Grissemer Ebert. He married Janice Carol Hansen on August 8, 1971 in Bensenville, IL, she survives.

Also surviving are two sons; Ralph Ebert Jr. of Jacksonville, Fl. And Tracy Ebert Nelson of Pauma Valley, CA. One brother; Marvin Ebert of Lacrescenta, Ca. a sister; Jean Bennet of Ocala, FL., and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Mr. Ebert was a precision machinist and Owned J & R Precision Products in Bensenville, IL. After retiring he raised cattle.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict and a board member of the Philo Public Library.
