Peggy Pearl Powell, 88, of Savoy passed away at 1:00 A.M, Friday, January 17, 2014 at Champaign Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the funeral.

Peggy was born in Urbana on December 31, 1925 to parents Robert Frank and Alma Pauline (Fred) Lovett. They precede her in death. Also preceding her in death is one daughter, Anita Kelly, three sisters and one brother.

Peggy has four surviving children, Stephen (Sharon) Morris of Rantoul, David (Ellen) Morris of Champaign, Marc Morris of Urbana and Annette (Ronnie) Felkner of St. Joseph. She has fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one brother, Bud (Joan) Lovett, and two sisters, Beverly (Ed) Potts and Carole (Bob) Dalhaus.

Peggy graduated from Urbana High School, worked for Carson Pirie Scott in retail sales for ten years, loved going to garage sales and loved dogs.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society in Peggy's name.
