CHAMPAIGN, IL- Peggy Helen Hoover, 87, of Champaign, passed away at 6:40 A.M., Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Paxton, IL.

Graveside services will be held in the Chapel at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Princeton, IL at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June, 5, 2010. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hoover was born August 26, 1922 at Tiskilwa, IL, a daughter of Ream and Helen (Acker) Comp. She married Robert W. Hoover on March 21, 1947 in Princeton, IL. He preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Harlan and husband, Mark of Champaign, IL, a grandson, Christopher Harlan and wife, Katie of Champaign, and a great granddaughter, Zoe Marie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Hoover was a member of the Episcopalian Church and the NCO Wives Club. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, travelling and she loved her dogs.
