Pauline Elizabeth Thrasher, 93, of Urbana passed away at 2:26 P.M. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. Pastor Hank Sanford will officiate. A Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.

Pauline was born on August 30, 1922 in Bloomfield, Indiana to parents James and Marie (Greg) Wickline. They preceded her in death. In October of 1942 she married Joseph Thrasher in Bloomfield. He passed away on December 20, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her son Joseph, one brother, three grandsons and her son in law.

She is survived by her children; Janice Gooldy of Columbus, IN, Marsha (Donald) Arnold of Ogden, IL, William (Carolyn) Thrasher of Birchwood, WI, Phillip (Jill) Thrasher of Arlington, TN, eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Pauline graduated high school in Bloomfield, IN. She worked for the University of Illinois, Illini Union as a housekeeper for ten years and was a member of First Christian Church in Champaign.

In her younger years Pauline enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her husband Joseph. She liked gardening, shopping, going to church and her pets but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
