Pauline Meta Limp Anderson, 92, of Urbana, died at 8:35 a.m. Friday at Canterbury Ridge in Urbana. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12 with visitation one hour prior to service time at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Rev. J. Michael Smith will officiate and burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Broadlands. Mrs. Anderson was born March 19, 1920 in Broadlands, the daughter of Philip Joseph and Wilhemina Henrietta "Minnie' (Partenheimer) Limp. She married Paul Gerald Anderson May 14, 1943 in Columbia, SC. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1994. She is survived by her children, Margo Patton (Ken) of Indian Trail, NC, Sheryl Joy (Harry) of Naperville, Kirk Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, Reid Anderson (Jean) of St. Joseph, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, a brother, Oscar Limp and a sister, Selma Limp David.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and operated a beauty shop in her home for many years. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, Urbana where she helped faithfully with the "Sweet Corn" project. She also was a member of the Christian Women's Club and enjoyed quilt making, weaving afghans, gardening and spending winters in Arizona.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the Grace United Methodist Church.
