Paul Edward Stanley 60, of Potomac died at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at home.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. There will be no public services.

Mr. Stanley was born on January 11, 1948 in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, the son of Paul Raymond and Lula Mae Boldin Stanley. He married Vicky Ellis on May 30, 1985 in Tuscola, she survives.

Also surviving are; three sons; Paul Stanley Jr. of Champaign, Michael Stanley of Lombard and Brandon Unger of Peoria, two daughters; Carla Stanley of Champaign and Tammy Stanley of Sidney, one brother; Donald Stanley of Channelview, Texas, one sister; Lois Kendall of Champaign and five grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by two children and one brother.

Mr. Stanley graduated from Edison Junior High and Central High School.

He was a retired supervisor for Caterpillar Inbound Logistics Company, Champaign.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Carle Hospice or to the family.
