Patricia Anne McCracken, 95, passed away on October 19, 2024, at Accolade Senior Living in Paxton, IL.  She was born in Springfield, Illinois on January 26, 1929, the daughter of Harold and Mary (Casey) Leeper.

Pat is survived by her son Lon (Rebekah) McCracken of Englewood, FL; and daughters Merilee McCracken of Barrington, IL and Carol (Steve) Burwell of Urbana, IL.  She had 9 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Shortly after graduating from Springfield High School, Pat married Victor McCracken and settled in Litchfield.  She was a homemaker, but also worked at Sidney's clothing store for many years.  Her greatest joy was with her children.  She loved spoiling her grandchildren & great grandchildren.  She enjoyed a good book, a crossword puzzle & mystery movie.

A private graveside service will be held in the near future in her hometown - Springfield, IL.
