Patricia Lou Empson, 77, of Urbana, passed away at 12:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Champaign County Nursing Home.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Pat was born in Champaign on March 7, 1938 to parents James and Vonna (Spradling) Empson, they preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her brother James Empson.

She is survived by her sister Shirley Morlock of Jacinto City, TX, her brother Donald E. (Cheryl) Empson of Urbana, her sister in law Jenea Empson of Ozark, AL and many nieces and nephews.

Pat was a graduate of Urbana High School. She also worked as a clerk/cashier at Huey's and at Champaign Surplus. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, jig saw puzzles and listening to Christian music.
